Where Do I Shop For Lingerie?

There are many questions I receive when someone inquires about doing a session with us, and one of the most common is WHERE THE HECK DO I BUY LINGERIE?!

Over the years of perfecting the boudoir experience for you, I have learned where to buy lingerie (as well as where not to), and I want to share this list with you. Whether you decide to book with me today, tomorrow, next month or even next year... this is a good place to start and experiment with budget/sizing/styles etc. Of course if you don't want to buy your own, you can always borrow something from our own luxury lingerie wardrobe-- this is included in every session that we do. We have sizes that range from XS-4X and we continuously refresh with the newest and hottest outfits for y'all.

We are going to start with the most budget friendly sites that I have come across. Of course, be weary when you buy from these places, because you certainly get what you pay for. A lot of these stores, I used to do HUGE hauls with because they are so affordable but I always did my best to read the reviews and to size up most times with my clients. Frequently, these places don't have their lingerie labeled correctly, so don't be discouraged if you normally wear a Medium and fit into a Large or even extra Large in these. These range from $10-$35 each lingerie set.

  1. Amazon

  2. Forever 21

  3. Shein/Zaful/IV Rose

  4. Yandy

  5. Savage X Fenty by Rihanna

  6. RaveFix

  7. Temptations Avenue

  8. Fashion Nova

  9. Boohoo

  10. H&M

  11. Tj Maxx/Ross

  12. Department stores like Dillard's/JcPenny/Macy's

I have personally ordered from all the places I mentioned above and if I had to pick my favorites, they would be Amazon, Yandy and Shein if you are wanting something last minute, quick delivery and very affordable prices. Amazon is surprisingly awesome with lingerie and I will post a few client favorites below.

Moving on to the middle price range lingerie sites... these are about $50-$100 per lingerie set. I have been adding more of these to the client closet now that I have filled it up more over the years. These places are more true to size than the cheaper websites and I definitely recommend actually keeping these versus selling them or only wearing them once.

  1. Hips and Curves

  2. Torrid

  3. Victoria's Secret

  4. La Perla

  5. Lane Bryant

  6. AdoreMe

  7. Fredericks of Hollywood

  8. Lounge Intimates

  9. Salt and Lace Intimates

  10. Tutti Rouge

Currently loving Lounge Underwear and Fredericks of Hollywood the most out of this list. I have several of their pieces in the client closet and my own! They are both great quality and have great customer service! 10/10 recommend!! Victoria's Secret is a given for lingerie of course, so I always like to suggest other places to my clients.

Last but certainly not least, these websites are the more high end quality of the lingerie world. If you follow me on Instagram then you know I am always sharing these sites, but quality is definitely worth it. Its become an obsession of mine to buy from them for the client closet too because my clients totally deserve the best! And I know that not everyone wants to spend $200-$500 on lingerie for a shoot and never wear it again. But, I promise you WILL want to wear these more than once. So, if you're feeling boujee and want to splurge these are the places I recommend:

  1. Agent Provocateur

  2. For Love and Lemons

  3. Playful Promises

  4. Honey Birdette

  5. Thistle and Spire

  6. Bluebella

  7. Gooseberry Intimates

  8. Beba Lingerie

  9. Pour Moi

  10. Curvy Kate/Scantilly

I'm OBSESSED with Honey Birdette, so much so that I bought some lingerie for my own boudoir shoot from there for this year! For Love and Lemons is sold at Victoria's Secret which is great to make it a one stop shop and their designs are more on the light and floral side but SO cute! I am definitely going to order more from these other sites that I mentioned since I want to be more inclusive with my sizing and get better quality things for the client closet that will last!!

Whether you have a small budget or a big one, buying lingerie for your shoot doesn't have to be stressful or scary. If you know of any local places that specialize in selling lingerie then definitely choose to shop small first. If you are also weird about shopping online, a lot of these places I recommended have store fronts but if they're not near you, I promise you are okay to order online, I usually do. Of course, if you have any other suggestions on places to shop then please let me know because I would love to check them out, review them on my YouTube channel for others to see or even add some of their pieces to my client closet.
